Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction… my every desire… mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful… except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession…

Sandy’s Review:
Reflected in You starts right where Bared to You left off.  Gideon and Eva are still crazy about each other and also driving each other crazy over their insecurities.  This books digs a little deeper when it comes to Gideons demons.  Eva starts to realize why Gideon is so closed off and has no close relationships as the people who were closest to him were the ones that hurt him the most.  This book also introduces a new character Brett Kline which gives Gideon a taste of his own medicine and a view of who Eva use to be.   At times I understood where Eva was coming from when she questioned him about his behavior but once the book was done it all made sense and I loved Gideon more for it. There’s lots more sex (of course), drama, and murder… Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.

Happy reading…

Reflected by you starts the day after the events of Bared to You. It makes you angry and sad. Hopefull and emotional. Confused, frustered and OH SO VERY HOT. Sylvia Day has a great cast of characters that help feed the story and keep it very alive.
Eva and Gideon are both equally terribly and horrendously broken. Their childhood traumas have been left permanently on their souls. It would be easy to say Gideon is more screwed up one here. He stalks Eva for every move she makes and tries to control every aspect of her life. The thing is….she takes it, she craves him. She welcomes the sexual overtures like a puppy whose master has been out all day. (Which I do love)
Sometimes Eva does drive me batshit crazy. Her insecurity and her tendancy to fly off the handle just makes me want to scream. But at the same time…..I get it…Eva will not let this giant man (in many ways) let her feel like the small woman. She has a lot of fight in her and she is going to make this work and help Gideon through his problems. Even if it kills her.
The story does read like a Tornado in your head. You don’t know what direction you are pointing, but you can’t put the book down. You are left emotionally spent. Their obsession/addiction for each other knows No bounds.
There is a mystery, a brutal beating or two, drama and jealousy. Oh and the limo needs a bumper sticker that reads “don’t come a knockin if the limo is rockin”. I cant wait to see where the next book leads them. Entwined with you sounds like a love story. I hope my voyeristic needs are met….
